My Approach
I believe that we all have innate strengths that we can build upon in our journey towards better mental health. Rather than fixating on what is outside our sphere of control, I lead my clients towards peace that comes from letting go of external pressures, and using what is within us to guide us through life. When a person is no longer trapped by the triggers of anxiety and trauma, they can truly become their best selves. I use ACT, CBT and EMDR approaches, as well as exposure, strengths-based, values-based, narrative, modified mindfulness and equine-facilitated therapies to assist my clients, teaching them how to let go of what they can’t control and to effectively navigate life’s daily struggles.
